Isn't it funny how people say they will help with anything you need and then when the time comes, they aren't there? I believe that has become my fate with auntie. The family told me when I started this venture they would be there to assist anytime I needed them. Well, I'm still waiting for that to come to fruition.

If you have seen the news or live in Indiana, you know we kind of had some snow dumped on us. The majority of it started yesterday, but it is still coming down. The kids went to school on a delay, but the roads are drifting out here in the country. I went to auntie's house yesterday and made sure she had everything she needed to get through until tomorrow. The only thing I did plan for was additional ice.

I had my hubby call and check on her today and she said she needs someone to come break and refill her ice trays. Normally I wouldn't mind, but her other nephews live in town closer to her. I live in the next town and it would just be more convenient for them to go. For some reason, she hasn't asked them. I just sent a text to one of them and asked if they could stop by her house. I am awaiting a response. Not sure if I will get one though. Spoke to soon, he just responded. He said he will go over. I told him he was a lifesaver. I take back some of what I said, but not all of it.

I will detail some of the reason behind my reaction later.
