If you have seen the news or live in Indiana, you know we kind of had some snow dumped on us. The majority of it started yesterday, but it is still coming down. The kids went to school on a delay, but the roads are drifting out here in the country. I went to auntie's house yesterday and made sure she had everything she needed to get through until tomorrow. The only thing I did plan for was additional ice.

I had my hubby call and check on her today and she said she needs someone to come break and refill her ice trays. Normally I wouldn't mind, but her other nephews live in town closer to her. I live in the next town and it would just be more convenient for them to go. For some reason, she hasn't asked them. I just sent a text to one of them and asked if they could stop by her house. I am awaiting a response. Not sure if I will get one though. Spoke to soon, he just responded. He said he will go over. I told him he was a lifesaver. I take back some of what I said, but not all of it.

I will detail some of the reason behind my reaction later.

I talked to the nicest guy on the phone the other day. He also happens to be very talented. His name is Bill Zucker and you can check him out at his site www.billzucker.com and be prepared to laugh.

He is a musician and pretty good, in my opinion. He has some great songs you can listen to and see the videos. Check out "The Twitter Song" and "T.A.R.P. Song". He has a few celebs from my days featured in them. One of my favorites it Scott Baio. Another fav is Lydia Cornell from Too Close For Comfort. My brother had a poster of her in a blue bikini hanging on his wall in high school. After talking with Bill, I had to call and make my brother smile in remembrance of his youthful wants.

Bill was even mentioned on CNBC. I always think its cool to hear the name of someone I know mentioned on TV. I would love to see him appear on Bob & Tom. So, let's get the word out about Bill Zucker and get yourself a CD.

I remember when my encounters with idiots was more spread out. Now they seem to be everywhere I end up. I agree with Bill Engvall, Here's Your Sign!

I can’t believe all the senseless violence that goes on these days. Early yesterday morning a 26 year old mother of 3 young boys was found severely beaten in her home. This happened in the small town I have called home for over 13 years. There are only about 2500 people here and this seems surreal. There has been rumors around town they have a person of interest, but the husband is not a suspect and I fully believe he is not. Everything I know about them would indicate the same. I heard talk from friends and family she has had problems with a window peeper. She is now in a coma and they don’t have anyone in custody.

What can be going through someone’s mind to think they have the right? I’m sure we will find out more details, but it’s scary to think we live in these times. Its things like this which makes it unbearable to give my kids any freedom. I just want to wrap them all up in bubbles to keep them safe.

Also today, my youngest had a part in his class for all September birthdays. I took in some cookies and M&M’s. The kids were all saying what an awesome party it was and it was so much fun. It really takes me back because it seems like yesterday my oldest was in kindergarten. The age difference didn’t seem to be a big deal until this year. You really notice it when one is starting college and one kindergarten. I feel every bit of my age and more some days.

It is days like this that I remember I have MS. I had to run out to the car for snacks and I literally ran. I knew as I was making a mistake while I was doing it, but I did it anyway. I have felt like poo since. I refuse to not do the things I want to do, but I need to be willing to pay the price.

Hopefully, tomorrow will bring a better day.
